What is Orthodontics?

The branch of dentistry that studies facial growth and development, preventing and correcting dental malocclusion.

Types of Appliances

Fixed appliances: consisting of brackets (metallic, plastic or ceramic), metallic bands and archwires.

Removable appliances: fitted in the mouth and can be removed by the patient, requiring patient compliance.
